Delivery Area
We do not hold a vast amount of stock due to the bespoke and fast moving nature of our business. Therefore we are dependant on stock from our many suppliers. Usually this does not cause a problem and items are delivered regularly to us by express next working day service and therefore are with you within 3-5 working days (up to 14 days on new computers). However should a specific item be out of stock an alternative will always be sort and we will contact you to advise of any changes BEFORE delivery and payment.
Normally all deliveries, including the build, supply and installation or new computers, is carried out within a maximum of 14 working days.
Delivery can take place anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However additional delivery and labour costs will be charged between the hours of 21:00-07:30 and all day Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Delivery is within Sussex only

We require payment on delivery by cash or cheque, made payable to Rob Haskins.
However we are now able to take credit cards via PayPal subject to a fee of 2.5% of the total.
If payment is not received on delivery of the item(s) and or services, we will either take back the item(s) or issue a recorded delivery 14 day invoice for payment; thereafter legal action will be taken.
Likewise failed cheques and credit card payments will also incur a recorded delivery 14 day invoice for payment; thereafter legal action will be taken.
Invoice for business orders will be raised for payment within 14 days, except where credit account terms have been agreed in writing. Failure to provide payment will result in a recorded delivery invoice and subsequent legal action.

All new computers are built on request to allow for personal perference in the specification. It is for this reason that RHCC cannot accespt returns and refunds. If the item is faulty it will be fully repaired or replaced under the terms of the warranty.
The minimum delivery time for all new computers if 3 working days. Maximum delivery time is 14 working days. Please advise if your requirement is urgent, otherwise our average delivery time is 10 working days.

All new computers are priced
to include delivery, set up, data transfer and a 1 year On-site parts and labour warranty, including recovery of data, unless otherwise specified or requested.
Full set up will be in a location of your choice subject to adequeste electrical sockets and telephone socket/connectivity/modem, if internet is required. Any additional cables or extensions can be supplied for an additional fee.
Set-up and Data Transfer on the same operating system includes situation set up and connection of all applicable cables to enable operation of the computer and transfer of a full image of your hard drive, so that all files, folders, windows settings and applicable software are saved. Should you wish to change your operating system then Set-up and Data Transfer includes situation set up and connection of all applicable cables to enable operation of the computer and transfer all the transfer files and folders saved under My Documents and email files only, unless otherwise requested, and does not include personal settings on other software, or the installation of such software, unless specifically requested at an additional charge. If you wish to transfer data from a faulty hard drive to yur new computer, then we shall do so under the terms of our data recovery service.
Unless an operating system (e.g. Windows) is stated as supplied with the new computer, a genuine operatibe system disk and/or genuine registration code solely for use on this new PC is required to transfer to the new system. Alternatively we can provide Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows Media Centre or New Windows VISTA at a discount for your new computer; please refer to the software category in our shop for current prices.
Suitable software, such as Microsoft Word, will be required to write letters and is not included unless specificaaly specified in the items details. We can provide Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and Microsoft Works (including Microsoft Word) at a discount for your new computer; please refer to the softwarecategory in our shop for current prices.
An internet connection is required to access the internet and send emails.
Please ensure you check the specification requirements of any games you wish to play on the new computer to ensure the specification is adequate. RHCC cannot be held responsible if games do not run because the specification had not been checked before purchase and will not accept a return and refund on this basis.
Audio is supplied via the standard monitor speakers, unless additional speakers have been specified in the items specifications.
Box only prices do not include speakers, keyboards, mice or other peripheral equipments unless specified.
A specimen copy of our warranty is available on request. If a fault is due to a manufacturing defect we will arrange repair or replacement with our supplier. However any timescale in this respect is beyond our control, although will be kept to as much of a minimum as possible.

Periodically we aquire second user parts from trade ins and irrepairable whole computers, which we are able to pass on to you at considerable savings from the cost when new.
The items specified in this catagory are in stock and for immediate sale.
They are second user items and are not new. All second user parts are fully tested and come with a warranty as specified in the specific part details (normally from 30-90 days).
Normally there is only one item available and when it is gone, it is gone.
As data
cannot be totally eradicated from hard drives and other storage devices, we do not stock these as second user items for the personal security of our customers, therefore complete second user PCs will be supplied with a New hard drive fully installed, unless spcified otherwise.

Recycling is a very important issue, one that RHCC takes seriously. Nowadays many of the new computers that are sold replace obsolete models that need to be disposed of somehow. RHCC don't believe in such waste. Where possible we try to advise on upgrades for your current computer. However if this is not possible, we are always happy to take away any old equipment or obsolete parts for recycling when we visit you.
All unwanted parts we acquire are fully tested, and if still working or can be repaired, are either sold on as Second User Parts in our online shop or passed on to charities. If any parts cannot be repaired, only then are they taken to a recycle centre for careful and secure destruction.
Did you know that every single element of every circuit board in your computer can be broken down and used again?
We would NEVER consider sending any of our waste to a landfill site and neither should you!
While we believe in this method of recycling, we also realise that obsolete computers often contain very sensitive and personal data. Security of your data is important to us and in this respect we DO NOT attempt to repair or resell any second user Hard Drives or other storage hardware. All hard drives are disabled on site to prevent any futire use, before being taken to a recycling centre for secure destruction. A certificate to this effect can be obtained if required, subject to a fee, as levid by the recycling centre.
Recycling doen't just mean old computer parts though. Many empty ink cartridges can be recycled or even refilled (which can also save you money). Recycling old ink cartridges can also help raise money for charity, as well as saving the environment. If you don't currently recycle your empty ink cartridges, please feel free to use the link below and help raise money for our chose local charity - Paws and Claws Animal Rescue.
Equally if you are looking to buy an inkjet printer take time to look at its ink consumption as not all inkjets are equally efficient. In fact there is a surprisingly large disparity in terms of how much ink in a cartridge ends up on the page. According to tests carried out by PC Pro, only half of the ink used in an Epson R240 actually ended up on the page in addition to the fact that Epson cartridges have limited recycling possibilities, while Hewlett Packard printers were much more efficient, with more than 95% of the ink being used. HP has also pushed its Vivera cartridge technology for exactly this reason

Installation, if applicable, of any prize is subject to the winners computer being suitable and having capacity for this device.
